Retrospective Solutions is honored to collaborate and Consult with Dr. Karla Kuusisto for Psychiatric Services, and medication management. With over 25 years of experience in treating various psychiatric disorders, Dr. Kuusisto provides excellent psychiatric care and specializes in the treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. She provides medication management to reduce the severity of emotions and behaviors as well as facilitates multi-disciplinary evaluations in order to plan an effective treatment disposition, safety plan and aftercare plan. Dr. Kuusisto performs a detailed evaluation to determine the client's diagnosis and uses this information to decide which treatment options will be most helpful to the client. In addition, Dr. Kuusisto strives to understand the "whole patient"--the physical, social as well as psychological aspects. Dr. Kuusisto also takes time to educate her patient’s and their families about the diagnosis, prescribed medications and the available treatment. |
